Irini Pasi Ensemble today opens the concert and training season with a tribute to the VOICES FROM MOUNT ATHOS
Mount Athos is the Holy Mountain that rises in the far east of the Halkidiki peninsula.
The holy mountain is still a destination for pilgrimage and interior research.
In the concert, excerpts from the manuscripts of the Vatopedi Monastery will be listened to.
This famous monastery preserves Christian singing manuscripts from the early centuries AD.
The concert will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church of Turin, on October 17th at 8.30 pm.
At the concert, “VOICES FROM MOUNT ATHOS”, Byzantine singing courses for beginners will be presented
The Choir will also sing on Sunday 11 October and Saturday 17 October at 5.00 pm, in Via della Consolata n ° 1 bis at Palazzo Saluzzo Paesana, during the photographic exhibition of Stratos Kalafatis.
The famous photographer presents his photographic pilgrimage to Mount Athos.
